Carl Lapeyrouse
Carl started competing in competitive bodybuilding in 1986, and by 1988 Carl competed in his first Pro-Qualifier, The USA Bodybuilding Championship (aka Mr. USA), placing in the top 10. In 1988 Carl was also awarded athlete of the year for the State of Louisiana by the NPC. In 1989 Carl won the Jr. Nationals. After Carl’s success in 1989 he was hired by a medical corporation to inspire and motivate patients to make the lifestyle changes necessary to lose weight and keep it off. Carl continued working for this corporation for more than two years, at which time he purchased the North Louisiana entities of the corporation in January of 1992, which he still owns today. Carl continued his passion of competing in bodybuilding off and on until 2004, earning several more wins along the way, as well as placing in the top 5 in the USA Championships (aka Mr. USA), the top 6 at the North American Championship (aka Mr. America) and the top 10 of the Bodybuilding NPC Nationals before retiring at the age of 40 ranked 10th in the nation in his respective class. Throughout Carl’s professional athletic career, he was a highly decorated competitor, recognized by the industry in the top bodybuilding magazines and featured on ESPN.
Carl is not only the creator of The 8 CELL IP and BALANCED Founder, but he is also the author and co-author of 2 published novels and owner of more than 20 registered IPs in the field of entertainment.
