BALANCED Sponsors Nicholls State University for Record Breaking Give-N-Day
The Nicholls Foundation, recently achieved a remarkable milestone by raising over $1 million through its sixth Give-N-Day event. This year’s event garnered the highest number of donors, donations, and funds ever recorded, with over $265,000 raised from 1,587 donors and 2,188 donations. The generous contributions will benefit 130 Nicholls organizations, with each receiving at least one gift. The event saw tremendous support from Nicholls alumni, with over 25% of donors identifying as alumni. Donations poured in from 39 states and 11 countries, breaking previous records. The Nicholls Foundation’s Executive Director, Jeremy Becker, expressed gratitude for the university and community’s support and promised an even more impactful event in the future.
BALANCED proudly sponsored Nicholls State University’s Geomatics program led by Dr. Balaji Ramachandran’s research. The Geomatics program equips students with essential skills in land surveying, construction surveying, and mapping. BALANCED also offered its monetary support to the Colonel Esports program, an organization dedicated to competitive gaming and community involvement. This sponsorship provides students with opportunities to pursue their passion for esports and develop valuable leadership and coaching skills.
